Ruud focused on World Cup

Dutch forward Ruud Van Nistelrooy has avoided talk on his future at the club, while he trains for the World Cup with his national team. The Dutchman has fallen out with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"No, not really," he said when asked whether he wanted to elaborate on the situation at the club. "I think I left behind me what happened."

"What happened, happened. It's just great that I could go straight into a World Cup team to prepare for that and look ahead not back.

"For me, I never look back. It's great to be feeling part of this dream now and I'm working really hard to do well there."

"I'm here for my country now. It's why I'm in this tracksuit at the moment. My only thoughts are with Holland. What happens in the future, no one knows.

"Right now my only thoughts are with this team. You can ask me anything but you'll get the same answer anyway."
